Go west, life is peaceful there. Go west, lots of open air.
Go west, to begin life new. Go west, this is what we'll do.
Go west, sun in winter time. Go west, we will do just fine.
Go west, where the skies are blue. Go west, this and more we'll do.
No not a tribute post to Village People. And no, I'm not adorning any hard hats or tight shiny pants any time soon...this is just a small (but brave!) message to 2 very dear friends who both recently headed back home to their respective 'wests' (Australia and Canada).

[yellow bread sandwich!]
Chris, I said I'd write sometime about the day we met. I keep my word (unlike you, where's my roast?!):
Thursday, 21 September 2006 at the Copthorne Hotel. I was eating the free sushi. You were wearing a suit. I went to the Malthouse with others, you bailed as per usual. There you go, "DONE!" :> (weird bird smiley face). Seriously (just because you hate that word), I already miss the interrogative teeth-pulling over my flat whites and your large lattes...I must say your exuberance and zaniness is unparalleled. "You are the craziest person I have met in the world ever!!! Rad, mintox, yo." Everyone needs a male confidant friend, so "thanks for coming" to fill that role and bringing a certain 'lightheartedness' to things ;) Here's to turkey, building empires and further opportunities to find you conceding defeat under the table! (HK 7s, March 08). Hope you're enjoying west, where the skies are blue.

[we are so refined! UGH!]
UGH! My beer and chips loving Keitepai. So many corn and fat feet memories. Supper freak supper freak. It's strange not to have you around to call on when I'm hungry, feeling in a weird mood, feeling bored, feeling happy...in fact all the time! Dressing up as santas, talking about barbie and toilet paper eater, putting m&m's in letter boxes, mongrels. whinging, wining. Winnie! Buckets. Matters of excretory nature. One of the rare people in this world who I feel comfortable with being myself (ie weird)...cos it's reciprocated! haha I'm sad you're not here but am excited to hear about your new life out west (with timbits). I will keep an eye out for farmer boys for you. And remember, Melbourne is pinky-promised! Where are all the weird people?!
Funny to be on the other side of farewells - I'm used to being the one heading off yonder.
The mass exodus continues...I better get used to it...or join 'em! ;)
